Push Through It
When I first started at Fenn, I was completely opposed to the idea that I should leave Mason Rice, my old school in Newton Massachusetts. It was hard to comprehend why my parents had chosen for me to attend this school. This mindset soured my first two months at Fenn and I can vividly remember trying to not have fun in class and hoping that if I portrayed Fenn to be a terrible place, my parents would allow me to return to Mason Rice. It was not until my parents told me that leaving Fenn was out of the question when I realized that I was experiencing a difficult time, and I needed to push trough it.
For me, the lesson of this is how important it is to push through challenges that you experience in life; it has become my greatest strength.
