It is a personal choice: live your life embracing the opportunities and challenges you encounter, or stay safe, make life easy, and don’t push yourself. In life, we are all faced with challenges. Sometimes these “challenges” can be self-made, or they can be genuine. If you approach any scenario with the mindset that “it” is going to be “impossible”, you are giving up before you have even started. On the other hand, if you can frame your approach to view something difficult as something you have the ability to conquer, you are allowing yourself to wreak the benefits of the opportunity right in front of you.
In my short life, I have learned that success builds on success. For every challenge that I meet head on, with an open mind, I find myself learning new things and gaining confidence. This allows me to believe in myself and feel that I am up for next “opportunity” that will present itself down the road.
All you can ever do is try and approach what seems like an obstacle with a positive attitude and an open mind. The benefits will always outweigh the risks because you learn from every experience, whether you soar or fail.
